ADOPTION APPLICATION

Ohio Shorthair Rescue Adoption Process:

  1. Complete application below.

  2. Please contact your vet for current/former pets to give them permission to give a referral.

  3. A volunteer will conduct a vet reference.

  4. A volunteer will conduct a phone interview.  Allow up to 2 weeks from application.

  5. A volunteer will conduct a home visit.

  6. Adoption coordinator will reach out to discuss adoptable dog(s) that would be a good match.

  7. If there is a good match, you will speak to the dog's foster family and schedule a time to meet the dog and potentially adopt.
