Hi, everyone! I’m Walter, and I’m 7 years old. Don’t let my frosty beard fool you, I have the energy of a much younger dog. I spent some time in the cell dog program learning basic obedience, and now I’m living in a foster home. I’m on something called a “diet,” and loving being part of a family. Here’s what my foster mom says about me:

“We are still getting to know him, but it’s not too early to say he is an incredible boy. He LOVES people – when he sees someone, even strangers, his little nub gets going so fast! He’s a great match for teens and preteens who love roughhousing, but I wouldn’t advise a home with young kids – when he’s excited he spins in circles, and he is strong enough to knock a short one down! Once he learned he was welcome on the couch, he started to spend the majority of his days napping on it.”

I am crate-trained and housebroken, neutered and up to date on my shots. I’m really good at walking on a leash, so I’m looking for a forever home with someone that will take me for walks. I’d love to have a big , secure yard to run and play, and a nice comfy bed to hang out with you.
