Happy New Year, folks! My name is Comet, and I’d like to introduce myself. I was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter, and nobody ever came to find me. I am so thankful that rescue got me and now I am ready for my forever home. I have been in the cell dog program learning basic commands and obedience, and I’m really good at it. My handler says that I’m “popular, confident, and well-liked by everyone,” whatever that means. I always try to make everybody smile.

I love meeting new people, and I like all other dogs. I’m only a year old, so I’m not ready to graduate yet. I want to keep going to obedience classes. I want to find a family that will take me on walks and involve me in their activities, and then snuggle with me at night.

I am neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
