I am a very young and alert girl and I notice everything that is going on around me. I am especially interested in birds and squirrels and anything to do with the out of doors. When I am outside there are just soooooooo many things to look at and smell that my Foster Mom says I become ‘selectively deaf’ whatever that means. She has been working with me and I have learned that if I go back to her when she calls me that she has a yummy hot dog treat for me. Yum, yum.

I have a great warning bark for people approaching or sounds I hear. If that’s something you’re looking for, I’m your girl. I don’t bark a lot, and I’m in no way a nuisance barker, but I reserve it for people I don’t know or cars that approach my house. You’ll always feel safer with me around.

My Foster Mom tells me I am the sweetest girl ever. I love to snuggle on the couch with her where she gives me lots of belly rubs. Ah yes…. belly rubs are the best thing ever. Although I love my people, I don’t need to be touching you every minute. The couch is fine but at night if you let me, I would love to snuggle in bed with you. Mom says there’s not enough room for all of us on the bed so I sleep in my own bed beside hers.

On weekends we all go up to the lake house and although I haven’t tried swimming yet, I do like to go on the boat. There are a lot of great smells up by the lake and I like to explore them all.

I am very smart and will do best in a home that will provide me with a lot of exercise and opportunities to keep learning. I think I would do great in an agility class or as a jogging partner. But I can tell you now that once I’m home I’m like a big couch potato ready for some loving. A tall physical fence is REQUIRED for me as I can easily jump over a chain link fence to explore what is on the other side. I’m very athletic, what can I say.

Although I love it here with my Foster Mom and Dad, I really would like to find a home of my very own. Who doesn’t want a young sweet thing like me?? If you think that I might be a good fit for your lifestyle, please ask about me. I’ll wait right here for you.
